Ponta Do Ouro bay is in the very South of
Mozambique and is a popular place for divers, fishermen and holiday makers,
with easy access from South Africa. Ponta Do Ouro has plenty accommodation
to offer with self catering houses, lodges and camping. Driving to Ponta
Do Ouro is by 4 wheel drive only as it is a very sandy area but most Ponta
lodges and accommodations will arrange border transfers for those with
2wd vehicles.

The bay of Ponta do Ouro is in the extreme south of Mozambique and is known for its good beaches and abundant marine life.
Diving is the most popular activity in the Ponta do Ouro area, Ponta do Ouro is also an excellent place to swim with dolphins, to book fully facilitated dolphin snorkelling trip as part of your package to Ponta do Ouro please enquire when making your accommodation reservation. Fishing charters can also be arranged departing from Ponta do Ouro.
You will need a 4x4 to reach the Ponta do Ouro area, however transfers
can be arranged by most Ponta lodges from the Kosi border post where safe
parking is provided (parking at Kosi border approx. R25 per day).

Tree
Tops (Topo Das Avores) Mozambique is a luxury lodge situated in
the bay of Ponta Malongane 8km north of Ponta do Ouro in south Mozambique
nestled amongst the dune forests with a breath taking 180 degree
sea view and a 180 degree wetlands view. The house is made from
Zimbiri (a local hardwood) with five exclusive double rooms. Each
room has a king size bed, en-suit wetroom, fan and all other amenities.
The lounge has a beautiful ocean view with big screen TV and DSTV.
Meals are served in the Kitchen or on deck depending on the weather
conditions.

kitchenette, bathroom with shower and are serviced (cleaned) daily.
The
Coco Rico complex is within walking distance (50m) from the beach.
The natural harbour creates a safe swimming beach. Accommodation
at Coco Rico is in self catering chalets sleeping up to eight (8)
people in three (3) bedrooms. 
Overlooking
the main beach in Ponta these self-catering chalets are set among
shady trees around a beautiful swimming pool. Each wooden chalet
has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area, verandah and braai and
all just a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, dive and
activity centres. Please bring your own beach and bath towels. 
These
serviced cabanas at Ponta do Ouro are set amongst shady trees close
to the beach.The cabanas sleep up to 4 people and each have bedding,
crockery and cutlery for 4 people. Each cabana has en-suite bathroom,
snack kitchen with a small fridge and parking for your vehicle.
Ponta
Malongane offers a variety of accommodation: camping, dive huts
and self catering chalets. Accommodation at Ponta Malongane is spread
out among shady trees along a beautiful sandy beach and with a restaurant,
bar and activity centre all on site nothing is more than a few paces
away. Ponta Malongane is a great place for all the family. 
Kaya
Kweru means the home of everybody and this is what the friendly
people at this lodge in Ponta do Ouro intend it to be. Everybody
is part of the family. Comfort is the priority and Kaya Kweru is
an upmarket resort boasting 24 luxury en-suite, air-conditioned
apartments. All apartments are extremely clean, tiled and the beds
have linen & duvets. House keeping & fresh bath towels are

reeded casita rooms. A great place to meet other divers and a great
