Situated in southern Mozambique half way between Inhambane and Vilanculos the Pomene Reserve is home to mangroves, dune forests and marine life. Divers should note marine life in this area includes dugongs and turtles. The area is also known for its fishing.

Pomene Lodge is situated in an unspoilt area of Mozambique between a mangrove estuary and the Indian Ocean about 55km from the main road along a sandy track. A 4x4 vehicle is required to drive here, particularly for the final section of soft sand between "Pomene City" and the lodge. Accommodation is built from local materials. There are a number of activities availabele including diving, horse riding, fishing, quad trails and sea kayaks.

Pomene View odge

Pomene View Lodge is situated on a cliff above a tidal mangrove estuary about 55km from the main road along a sandy track. Access is by 4x4 vehicle, although there is also an airstrip nearby for private charters. Accommodation is in comfortable stone and thatch self catering chalets. Excursions to the ocean accross the estuary and various activities can be arranged.

Morrungulo

Morrungulo is an unspoilt beach location north of Inhambane ideal for diving explorations and fishing. Despite being remote it can be reached in a 2 wheel drive vehicle.

Morrungulo Holiday Resort

Morrungulo Holiday Resort provides self catering accommodation and camping in a beautifully landscaped location with direct access to the beach. Launch your own boat or take a diving excursion with the onsite "Island Style Diving". Blankets and mosquito nets are provided in the chalets but clients must bring their own sheets, pillow cases and towels.
