With landscaped gardens running down to the beach the accommodation here is in A-frame chalets each with their own bathroom, fan and mosquito net.

A family friendly place with chalets sleeping 2, 3 or 4 people, the lodge also has spacious luxury air-conditioned rooms with their own sea-view balcony. The restaurant is on the decking by the swimming pool, and the terrace bar offers views out towards the islands. A path leads from the lodge onto the beach passed the activity centre.

Vilanculos Camping Photo Gallery

The camp is situated on the beachfront in the town of Vilanculos, which is reachable by ordinary passenger car. No 4x4 is necessary.
Most campsites are under shady trees and all campsites are equipped with water taps.
Please note that the Town of Vilanculos always has problems with Electricy, So clients are advised to take own Generators.
The camp is fenced in and have 24-hour security guards in attendance. Only residents are allowed in the campsite.
The camp is quite open onto the road, so watch out for the hawkers who sell their wares along this section of road, and it can be noisy at night.

Baobab Lodge Photo Gallery

Baobab is a backpackpackers' place, and camping and cheap beds in dormitories are available. There are also several gorgeous separate circular chalets, built from local materials (palm leaves/wood) which are absolutely idyllic. The setting, right down on the beach by an enormous Baobab Tree makes it one of the most beautiful and romantic cheap places to stay in the world. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the main street in the centre of Vilanculos, down towards the beach and along to the right - everyone knows where it is.
