Hidden in the heart of a coconut grove alongside a stretch of a
virgin beach and surrounded by rural villages, this eco-friendly
backpackers/beach lodge is built entirely from natural materials.
Endless summer days can be spent in the warm Indian Ocean. Swimming,
surfing, snorkeling and diving.
When it is time to take a sun or sea break lay claim to a hammock
and slip in some dream time Bamboozi style nights include wild parties,
but those who prefer sitting on a balcony watching the moonrise
while counting fireflies and shooting stars, can do just that.
We provide mozzie nets and linen. Camping amongst palms, a guest
kitchen, bbq/braai areas and hot water showers.
The funky bar on the dune serves scrumptious seafood, veggie delights
and local dishes.
Accommodation at Bamboozi Beach Lodge
DORMS
You can find the dorms of Bamboozi in between the coconut trees.
In the spacious dorms you'll find beds with mozzienets and electricity
as well. We have a communal kitchen and bathrooms.
HUTS
In between the coconut trees you can find the huts of Bamboozi.
Sleeping in a basic hut with only a mattress on the concrete floor
and mozzienets is a real African experience. Huts are available
as 2 sleepers.
CHALETS
Sitting on the veranda of one of the 5 chalets you can enjoy the
view on the coconut trees. The chalets are situated on the dunes
placed around the pool. The chalets provide bathrooms with hot water
and a basic self-catering kitchen.
Attractions at Bamboozi Beach Lodge
Our area is fast becoming famous for the resident Mantas, Whale
sharks, Dolphins, Turtles and Humpback whales.

Left the miserable summer rain of JHB (SA), seeking warm sunny
sands and pure bundu bash (no electronics or modern technology).
Be ready to rough it out, Bamboozi Lodge is situated about 400
metres from the beach. The lodge offers several accommodation
options, from camping to little huts (Mozambique style).
The lodge leads up to the restaurant/bar leading down to the
beach.
The bar/restaurant opens from the early hours of the morning
until the last man standing. On various days, there's home cooked
soul food dishes served, with the option to choose from regular
menu.
The sun is already waking you up as early as 5:30AM; with the
perfect sea to swim in. No heavy waves, accompanied by the cool
refreshing sea
Should you wish to surf, not too far away from Tofo, Praia da
Tofinho lets the surfers get some wind in their hair.
To the Tofo market, take of your shoes, let your feet be exfoliated
by the sand and get a tour of the neighbourhood. You‘ll
meet up with friendly Mozambique public. The market sells all
African curios and basic daily supplies.

This place is class!!!
Its right on the beach with the dormitory arranged in a circle
in the open air(all beds have individual mosquito nets)
There is a cool bar that they let us help out in and all the
guys were fit! They cooked us meals as we were pretty broke!
Volleyball on the beach everyday and the place is just in front
of flields and fields of palm trees with coconuts.
Pure blue water,white sand and small walk down to the hopping
beach bar.
The outdoor dorms-was like being on survivor!
