Paindane Lighthouse Reef Accommodation

Accommodation at Paindane Lighthouse Reef is in luxury houses with tiled floors or in beach cabanas and casitas for campers.

Paindane Lighthouse Reef Houses have fully equipped kitchens with oven, fridge and freezer and clean luxury bathrooms. Wooden decks allow for whale watching from the front door.

• Gas supplied for all houses.
• All the houses have fridges & freezers & all the basic utensils (pots, cutlery, cups, plates & glasses) are supplied.
• All houses have at least 2 bathrooms, are tiled & have shower, toilet & hand basin. Most houses have 3 bathrooms - one with a bath.
• Bring your own towels, dish cloths & toilet paper (only first roll supplied).
• Plug points – 2 point plugs.

• Water is drinkable.
• No quad bikes allowed in the resort or on the beach.

Activities at Paindane

Scuba Diving “Derek’s Pro Dive Centre” - Manta Rays, whale sharks, dolphins, game fish, spectacular reefs. Fully stocked with all dive equipment, including cameras for hire, Derek Wagner will ensure every dive is an experience.
All dive training courses catered for.

Launching your own Boat: - Launching & Fishing PERMITS

• Available from Maritime when visiting Resort.
• Ski boat with fiber glass hull = 505Mt
• Rubber duck & Jet Ski = 363Mt
• Spear fishing - only allowed 300m in sea from reef.
• Angler licenses also needed for anglers on boats.
• Boats can be left next to beach - night watch provided.
• Bring own bait - sardines & squid are best.

Fishing Charters – Experienced charters in the area can provide all tackle and almost guarantee your catch!

Swim and Snorkel in safe clear water, take a leisurely stroll on endless pristine beaches, or just relax and watch the waves, whales and dolphins.

Visit nearby Inhambane for a touch of local colour. The Central Mercado, museum and informal markets are worth a visit. Local restaurants offer excellent seafood. Enjoy a trip on a traditional dhow from Imhambane to Maxixe return.

A R200 non-refundable levy per house, is charged on utensils & equipment.
Extra person in house - R120.00/night & children under 12 years - R60/night
During the peak seasons of April, June-July and December, a minimum
of 10 nights reservation will apply.
All above prices include 17% Tax (IVA). Prices are quoted per night.
No electrical appliances (e.g. Hairdryers, microwaves, irons, etc) are allowed.
