The biggest attraction is the Indian Ocean. The waves are good enough for
body surfing and swimming is safe. You can buy fish or crayfish from the local
fishermen, they offer their catch in a wicker basket. Swim and Snorkel in
safe clear water. On the south side of the beach is a rock reef that is partially
exposed during low tide. This is great for snorkeling.

There are several dive sites nearby - Manta Reef is only 3 miles away. Coconut
Bay Scuba Diving Centre will collect you from the resort and take care of
all you diving needs.
Fishing Charters – when last did you catch a real game fish? Experienced charters in the area provide all tackle and almost guarantee your catch!
Pristine Beaches - take a leisurely stroll on endless pristine beaches, or just relax and watch the waves, whales and dolphins. Visit nearby Inhambane for a touch of local colour. The old Portuguese architecture and tropical surroundings of Inhambane Town make the town a historical must-see for every tourist. The town of Inhambane is only a 30 minute drive from the resort and offers a daily food market, restaurants and other sight-seeing spots. What makes the town unique is its heritage. Inhambane is one of the oldest towns in Southern Africa.
As Vasco da Gama rounded Africa in the late 1400s he sailed into the beautiful bay of Inhambane to replenish stocks and to explore. The explorer fell in love with the area and named it “Terra de Boa Gente” - land of the friendly, gentle people. Forty years later the Portuguese established a trading post and settled in Mozambique . Inhambane was an important port and still has a large fleet of working dhows.
