Ponta Do Ouro bay is in the South of Mozambique and is a popular place for divers, fishermen and holiday makers, with easy access from South Africa. Ponta Do Ouro has plenty accommodation to offer with self catering houses, lodges and camping. Driving to Ponta Do Ouro is by 4 wheel drive only as it is a very sandy area but most Ponta lodges and accommodations will arrange border transfers for those with 2wd vehicles.
Ponta Do Ouro diving is fantastic with plenty exciting reefs close by, fishing around the Ponta area is also excellent. Ponta Do Ouro is also the place to go swim with dolphins - this unique experience of swimming with Dolphins in the Indian Ocean is a memory to treasure.
