The
beach:
The beach is a 10min drive from Nhabanga Paradise with a 4X4 or
30min with a ferry.
Although one may feel content with just sitting and enjoying the
beauty of nature at Nhabanga Paradise there are quite a big variety
of activities and water sports available for guests’ enjoyment.
A full restaurant with sports bar (equipped with Dstv and pool
table) is available at the town of Bilene which is a 20 minute trip
away from Nhabanga Paradise by ferry.

Rates:
Daily rate R400 per stand with a maximum of 4 people per stand.
Additional guests will be charged R75 per day. Wash up facilities
and use of ablution blocks are included. The tent chalets are R475
per night for 4 people.
Rules:
•Use of quad bikes are only allowed between 8am and 6pm.
• 4x4s and quad bikes may only be used on designated routes.
• No camp fires are allowed outside the designated braai facilities
• No drunkenly or socially unacceptable behaviour will be
tolerated

Directions:
1.From Pretoria, Take the N4 east towards Witbank.
2.From Witbank continue on the N4 towards Nelspruit.
3.After reaching Nelspruit continue on the N4 towards Komatipoort.
4.Once Mozambique has been entered through the border post at Komatipoort
continue along the N4 (becomes EN4) towards Maputo.
5.After passing the tollgate at Maputo take the Xia Xia turn off
(EN1) to the left.
6.When reaching Marcia (Approximately 190km from Maputo) take the
Bilene turn off to the right. When reaching Bilene (34 km from Marcia)
take the first exit to the left of the circle.
7.Turn left at the T-junction next to the flee market.
8.Take the first exit at the next circle (at Palmerias resort) and
continue straight on this dirt road. (Deflate tyres to 1bar)
9.Continue along the unpaved sandy road around the lake for ±19km.
10.Look for the Nhabanga paradise sign on the left.
When not driving a 4x4 it is recommended to store your vechile
at the available 24hr secured facility in Bilene and crossing the
lake by ferry to Nhabanga paradise. Pre-arrangement is required.

Things to remember:
•A valid passport.
•A valid drivers license.
•Copies of your vehicle license and registration documents
as well as boats and trailer documents.
•Third party insurance is compulsory and is obtainable at
the border at approximately R150 per vehicle.
•Malaria preventing medication.
•Take note that in case of a towing boat or any other trailer,
a triangle must be displayed on the front of the vehicle. This could
normally be obtained from any 4X4 equipment retail centre. Alternatively
it can be obtained at the BP garage at Komatipoort.
•Basic groceries, fruit and vegetables.
•Last refueling point at Bilene.
•Pressure gauge & air compressor.
•4x4 recovering equipment.
•Deflate tyres for sand.
