Dona Soraya Lodge is situated on the South Beach of Vilanculos, overlooking the spectacular Indian Ocean and out to the Bazaruto chain of islands on the horizon. This wonderful peaceful Lodge is hosted by Dona Soraya who offers international and seafood cuisine.

The beach, 160m x 100m, with 90 coconut trees, is only a short walk down the wooden stairway to the clean sands and tranquil waters of the bay, safe swimming for children and the young at heart that enjoy water sports.

Suites

The spacious accommodation offers Double Bed Suites, and 2 Single Beds Suites, with mosquito netting and stand alone fans as well as sea-view veranda's. A walk-in dressing room with shower and toilet. All rooms have a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk and an extensive breakfast is included and served in the restaurant each morning.

We also have a traditional reed house with a garden view that sleeps 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. The Reed House has an en-suite shower and toilet and fully fitted kitchen attached.

The 2 Park Home Suites, with garden views, sleep 4 in each suite, with an en-suite shower and toilet.

The 2 Family Suites, with shower/toilet en-suite and fully fitted kitchen (Self Catering) sleeps 6 in each suite. The suites have spectacular views over the Bazaruto Archipelago.

Where is Dona Soraya Lodge?

On the road, from Maputo or Beira, at Pambarra you turn towards Vilanculos. After approximately 18km, you will pass ‘Berry Juice’ on your right hand side. Another 500m you will pass ‘The Brick Yard’. Continue for another 500m and you will find to your left, “Vilanculos Madeira’ a yellow painted entrance. To your right are sign boards directing you to the various lodges including Dona Soraya Lodge. Turn right and continue until you reach the Dona Soraya Lodge signboard. Turn left and drive straight for 1km to the lodge.
