Casa de Beija Flor translated stands for 'House of the Flower Kisser' and was so named as the rare Neergaard's Sunbird was identified on the site where the lodge is built. The two casita's (traditionally known as thatched roof houses) that are available can each comfortably accommodate 4 people and therefore is a perfect holiday spot for a small intimate group of friends or family.

The casita’s at Casa de Beija Flor are nestled in coastal bush amongst sand dunes. The philosophy at Casa de Beija Flor focuses on creating a relaxed, comfortable, unforgettable holiday experience.

Each casita offers the following facilities:
· King size bed
· Loft bedroom with 2 single beds
· Bedding
· Self catering kitchen with gas hob, fridge/freezer combo, kettle, toaster and cutlery/crockery for 4 people
· Bathroom with bath, shower and basin

Tofo is rated amongst the top dive spots in the world…and offers amazing surfing on Tofinho Beach. Come and enjoy the 8km stretch of Tofo beach – have a swim, walk or just relaxing on the beach.

How to get to Casa de Beija Flor?

There are various options to arrive in Tofo including self drive, air travel or if you are adventurous, public transport. You do not need a 4×4 to get to Tofo, you can get there in a standard sedan vehicle.

Self Drive - Tofo is 1100kms from Johannesburg and 690kms from Nelspruit. The Maputo Corridor provides a very good highway. This is otherwise known as the N4 from Johannesburg to Maputo

Air Travel - LAM (Mozambican Airlines) flys directly from O.R. Tambo International Airport to Inhambane Airport on a daily basis.

Public Transport (for the adventurous and not faint hearted) - There are local express buses that run from Maputo to Inhambane on a daily basis. The trip takes about 8 hours. There are also chappas (local minibus taxi) that can be used.
