where our place of adventure is nestled in the most breathtakingly beautiful, uninhabited bay in a country rich of exquisite scenery, Portuguese Mozambican culture and tradition.
CAMPING
All campsites have lots of shade and a plug point. Please note no appliances with elements to be plugged in, as this will trip your power supply. It is recommended to use gas. No kitchen/fridge/freezer facilities are provided.
CAMPSITES
Parque de Malongane boasts 52 beautifully shaded camp sites which
are spread along the 1km area of the Resort. Campsites C01 – C33 are
in the Northern section of Resort and C34 – C53 in the Southern section
are closer to the Dive Camp and boat launching area.
There are 6 /8/12 person camp sites all individually numbered and demarcated by poles. Each site has a 3 point 5 amp plug point. All sites are within easy walking distance to beach and one of our 5 public ablution blocks. (Refer to Resort map for site location).
Our campsites do not have braais/grids or table and benches. No camping or fires are permitted outside of the pole site demarcated areas, the grassed garden areas or on the roads. No poles are to be removed.
Important things to remember when planning your vacation:
Petrol and Diesel is available at Ponta do Ouro approx. 8km
south of the Resort.
There are no medical facilities at the Resort – the nearest hospital
is at Manguzi
in South Africa. Please bring a fully equipped first aid kit and include any
prescription medication; anti malaria prophylactics and anti histamines.
Please bring your own bath and beach towels – NO towels are supplied
in chalets
or rondavals or at any accommodation in Resort.
Plug points at the Resort accommodations and campsites all run on 5 amps and
are
unable to support any electrical appliances with elements ie. hairdryers/electric
kettles/electric heaters – please do not bring them – they will
cause power to trip.
The Resort does not offer any private laundry service to guests.
Water to the Resort comes from a borehole and is fine for washing and bathing.
Bottle water is recommended for drinking.
Wood and charcoal can be purchased from the villagers just outside the Resort.
Important things to remember once inside the Resort:
NO quad bikes or motor bikes are permitted to be driven or switched on inside
the Resort. Persons not adhering to this will be fined.
No resort poles may be removed for any reason – persons will be fined.
No tents are permitted to be put up outside chalets or rondavals. Camping
is
strictly on designated pre-paid campsites.
Resort speed limit is 20km – please drive slowly and be aware of small
children.
All swimmers/beach goers – for your own safety, please keep well away
from the
ski-boat launching area when swimming/snorkeling or relaxing on the beach.
No hosepipes are to be used inside the resort except at the boat cleaning
area.
Please do not park in the roads or on grassed garden areas.

Prices are staring prices given as a guide only, actual price may vary depending on availability.
A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation with balance payable 10 weeks before your travel date. Bank transfer, credit and debit cards accepted for pre-bookings. Paypal available on request.
Ponta malongane is right next door! Situated 6 hours from Johannesburg and 4 hours from Durban, you can enter through the Kosi Bay border post, Swaziland or the Lebombo border post at Komatipoort. Located 15 kilometers north from the Kosi Bay border your adventure start at the border with the challenging sandy roads of Southern Mocambique. A border transfer service is also offered for those unfortunate among us not to have a 4x4 vehicle.
