Pieter‘s Place is located 5 minutes on foot from the main Wimbe Beach in Pemba, next to Reggio Emilia. Comfortable rooms are set in a small but lush garden below a massive, ancient baobab tree. It is a friendly place with a small restaurant, so you can take all your meals there if you wish.

Pieter's Place is within walking distance of the bars and restaurants along Wimbe beach should you want to venture further afield. Bedrooms are en-suite with hot water and fans, a small fridge and facilities to make coffee and tea.

Rooms

Pieter's place offers single and double room accommodation set in a tropical garden beneath an 1000 year old Baobab tree.
We are situated 200 meters from the beach. All rooms are fully serviced and all linen provided. All rooms have their own bathrooms with hot showers, coffee & tea makings and a fridge. We offer a selection of rooms from single to large double rooms.

Although the rooms are not self-catering, Pieter's Place has a full restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and a well stocked bar. Wi Fi is available in all public areas.

From Breakfast to Diner, Pieter's Place offers the freshest seafood in town, plus a variety of light meals, snacks, baskets, sandwiches. We also cater specifically for vegetarians. Any other dietry requirements can be pre-arranged.

Diving

Pieter Jacobs is the owner and manager of C. I. Divers, ensuring hands-on supervision at all times. He has been resident in Mozambique since 1996 when C. I. Divers was founded. Pieter is qualified as a PADI Open Water scuba instructor as well as a first aid medic instructor. He has extensive knowledge of engineering and also runs the repair and maintenance side of the business. He is an avid conservationist, authorised by the ministry of environment of Mozambique to implement conservation.

C. I. Divers is also involved in the international coral monitoring project. Pieter has experience in commercial diving and has done quite a lot of work regarding this in Mozambique. CI Divers Pemba offers the following PADI Dive Experiences and Courses. We adhere strictly to all PADI international safety standards and procedures.
