Carlo & Susanna built il Pirata in harmony with the local environment, with all materials carefully chosen to complement the surrounding area and blend in with it. Visit our haven of peace and tranquility, take off your shoes, feel the warm white sand under your feet, and embark on a truly East African Experience.

Bungalows

3 self contained bungalows immersed in nature, that’s all. Only 6 privileged people can come and enjoy the beautiful African nights here on Murrebue Beach at a time.
Susanna and Carlo designed the bungalows with only one thing in mind; to make you feel that you are the only person on earth for that night.

Essential and built entirely with local materials, the beach bungalows make you feel hundreds of years away from home, they are gently placed right next to the beach, the waves gently caressing the beach will keep you company and the hundreds of colourful birds provide the wake up call to start another beautiful day on Murrebue Beach. A third bed can be provided.

On the highest point of the property, the Stone House offers the best view of the ocean right from the room, while the private garden surrounding it ensures complete privacy. If you are looking for a designer bungalow to spend your holiday with your loved one, than look no further. The Stone House has it all.

If you are looking for a nice ambience on the beautiful Murrebue beach, where you can spend a relaxing day, enjoying a tasty meal, il Pirata Restaurant is the place for you. Immersed and perfectly integrated in the indigenous vegetation, il Pirata Restaurant has this and much more to offer. Susanna and her staff, make sure you have the best Italian food to accompany your perfect day on the beach.

Dinner is served, only for the in house guests, on the deck under the stars. Whether you spent a hectic day Kite Surfing, or chilling out on the beach, you will enjoy the warm atmosphere; il Pirata has to offer.

The chill-out Bar welcomes you with great music and the perfect situation to socialize or have your private spot, while enjoying your drinks.

Kite Surfing

On a lifelong mission to identify the best winds and spots in the Indian ocean, Carlo discovered Murrebue. He started kiting its waters with a bunch of local enthusiasts and quickly realized he had in hands a really cool spot! Set routes and started Pirate Kites. Pirate kites is the Only kite center in Northern Mozambique
