Humula Beach Resort & Spa is a 4-star hotel located in Bilene, 180 kilometres from Maputo. The hotel can be accessed mainly by road although there is an option to fly into Bilene using small charter planes or helicopter. Guests flying into Bilene can land at the aerodrome which is about 6 kilometres from the hotel and whisked away to the hotel by the hotel’s shuttle service.

Accommodation

Most of the rooms have unobstructed views of the lagoon. Rooms that do not have views to the lagoon face well manicured gardens or they face the natural bush outcrops where guests can wake up to the sweet chirping sounds of the multiple bird species resident in the foliage.

However, despite classification each individual room radiates its own unique character based on its location and views from the room. No one particular room type is confined to one specific location therefore in every room type category you can find one or more rooms with the best views of garden, bush and lagoon. The room type categories are as follows;

The Nyangono Suite – 1 room
Named after the local Chief of the area, this Executive Suite inspired the whole concept of the luxurious Executive and Presidential Suites of Humula Beach Resort and Spa. The compact suite was the first to be constructed and overlooks the lagoon and beach and has below it the original site where mortar mixing took place. Now on the former brick and mortar site stands a beautifully manicured garden.

Deluxe Rooms – 33 Rooms
These are elegant rooms that include 9 twin-bedded rooms. Deluxe rooms are well apportioned with services and facilities for a memorable stay.

Superior Rooms – 8 Rooms
6 of the 8 Superior Rooms combine the elegance found in deluxe rooms with inviting space in the bathrooms that have both a luxury bath tub and a separate shower. The other two Superior Rooms that only have a shower in the en-suite bathroom are, spacious stylish and have unique unparalleled views that will have you spending more time on the balcony than you may realize.

Executive Rooms – 5 Rooms
Offering superb value and combining functionality and style, Executive Rooms are spacious and have a separate work area as well as a compact lounge with comfortable sofa seating. All Executive Rooms have a shower, toilet and washbasin in the en-suite bathrooms.

Executive Suites – 8 Rooms
Graciously designed and styled, the Executive Suites are large and all have conjoint lounges. They have a dressing area and work station. The Jacuzzi bath with one-way mirror views uplift your bathing pleasure.

Casa Protocolar – 1 Unit
At Humula Beach Resort & Spa you can have it all, family, work and play all in one place. The pinnacle of all this is the Casa Protocolar or diplomatic suite. The suite is most ideal for guests who during their leisure time with family have to bring along their work, or those guests who during the course of their work or conference want to bring their family. The suite is a two-bedroom facility with two shower and toilet units, a lounge area, a dining area, as well as a private verandah with stunning views.

VIP Suites – 3 Rooms
The VIP Suites boast of very spacious luxurious en-suite rooms that have a separate dressing area and work station, lounge and dining areas, Jacuzzi type bath with one-way mirrors that allow you to enjoy a sensual bath while taking in the magnificent views from the bedroom side.
