Chalets

There are 18 Self-Catering Casa's at present with 103 Club members, then there are 7 potential Casa's which are still to be built with a further 12 Club members who all have an interest in Canda Island remaining a Nature Reserve with an environment which meets all Mozambique Government Regulations and Laws.

Casa Accommodation Facilities:
· All houses are equipped to sleep a maximum of 8 people
· All houses are equipped with a freezer and fridge
· All houses are equipped with gas stoves and gas geysers (gas provided by Canda)
· All houses are equipped with fire extinguishers
· Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and pots are provided
· Water in taps is not fit for human consumption. Borehole water is available at the nearby village
· Bring sufficient water for the first night – a 5L container
· For those houses that do not have permanent electricity
· Generator times: 05:00 – 07:00, 11:00 – 13:00 & 17:00 – 23:00.
· Additional generator hours can be arranged at the office at an additional cost
· Internet connectivity is available on “MOVITEL” close to the office where there is a booster.
· Please bring your own household items, and insect repellent (HIGH RISK MALARIA AREA).
