Please take note of the following when considering a holiday in Mozambique;
• Please bring your own drinking water
• Malaria protection is advised, either by medication or otherwise using repellent, especially at night.
• Shore fishing is good at certain times of the year, especially from February to July, which is Kingfish time.
• At the border they will request vehicle papers and 3rd party insurance, which is compulsory in Mozambique, but obtainable at the border post. Don't forget your car log book, passports and ZA sticker.
• Ski boats are welcome, but it is advisable that all relevant documentation is produced at the border.
• No driving is permitted on any beaches in Mozambique.

DIRECTIONS
From Johannesburg:
Travel to Nelspruit and then on to the Komatipoort border post. Once through the Komatipoort border post follow the road +/-100km towards Maputo. You will go through 2 tollgates, the first is +/-50km from Komatipoort, payment can be made in Meticais, Rands or US$. The second, Matola toll plaza is just before you enter Maputo and payment is preferred in Meticais.

About 4km after Matola toll plaza, turn left at a junction under a bridge with Xai-Xai sign and drive for about 180km.

How to find SMBC once you reach Bilene...
Upon entering Bilene you will come across a traffic circle, go straight through the turning circle (Bilene Hotel will be on your right). Turn left at the T-junction and in 400m you will reach the beach road T-junction (the market will be on your left). Take a left and follow this road for 1km, the road leads to San Martinho Beach Club.
