Nhabanga Paradise is situated close to the town of Bilene, in the Gaza Province. This lavish Paradise retreat is known for its beautiful inland lake which is 5km wide and 14km long and perfect for water sports and swimming. The view from Nhabanga Paradise is one of peace and tranquillity with lush vegetation and white sands to feast the eye on.

Accommodation at Nhabanga Paradise, Bilene

Nhabanga Pardise offers the following options:

Camping
Grass covered camping stands with ample shade, fresh tap water and braai facilities. 6 people maximum.

Tent chalets (small)
Maximum of 6 people. Water tap, braai facilities, electricity and fridge provided.

Tent chalets (large)
Maximum of 10 people. Water tap, braai facilities, electricity and fridge provided.

Self Catering Chalet
3 bedroom, self-catering chalet with on suite bathrooms. Fully equipped: Fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery.

Fresh, hot water within the fully equipped ablution blocks ensures that you stay civilized although you are secluded from civilization.

Beach Bar
Available to all visitors.

Full wash-up facilities for cutlery and clothes are available, as well as 24 hour security.

Fresh fish can be obtained daily, at reasonable prices from the local fishermen.

A full restaurant with sports bar (equipped with Dstv and pool table) is available at the town of Bilene which is a 20 minute trip away from Nhabanga Paradise by ferry.

Rules
• Use of quad bikes are only allowed between 8am and 6pm.
• 4x4s and quad bikes may only be used on designated routes.
• No camp fires are allowed outside of the designated braai facilities.
• No drunkenly or socially unacceptable behaviour will be tolerated
• Right of admission

The Beach
The beach is a 10min drive from Nhabanga Paradise with a 4X4, or 30min with a ferry. Although one may feel content with just sitting and enjoying the beauty of nature at Nhabanga Paradise, there is quite a big variety of activities and water sports available for guests’ enjoyment.

A few things to remember when visiting Mozambique:
• A valid passport.
• A valid drivers license.
• Copies of your vehicle license and registration documents, as well as boats and trailer documents.
• Third party insurance is compulsory and is obtainable at the border at approximately R150 per vehicle.
• Malaria preventing medication.
• Take note that in case of a towing boat or any other trailer, a triangle must be displayed on the front of the vehicle. This could normally be obtained from any 4X4 equipment retail centre. Alternatively it can be obtained at the BP garage at Komatipoort.
• Basic groceries, fruit and vegetables.
• Last refueling point at Bilene.
• Pressure gauge & air compressor.
• 4x4 recovering equipment.
• Deflate tyres for sand.

DIRECTIONS TO NHABANGA
1. From Pretoria, Take the N4 east towards Witbank.
2. From Witbank continue on the N4 towards Nelspruit.
3. After reaching Nelspruit continue on the N4 towards Komatipoort.
4. Once Mozambique has been entered through the border post at Komatipoort continue along the N4 (becomes EN4) towards Maputo.
5. After passing the tollgate at Maputo take the Xia Xia turn off (EN1) to the left.
6. When reaching Marcia (Approximately 190km from Maputo) take the Bilene turn off to the right. When reaching Bilene (34km from Marcia) take the first exit to the left of the circle.
7. Turn left at the T-junction next to the flee market (You will see the Nhabanga Paradise sign indicating to turn left).
8. Deflate tyres to 1 bar.
9. Follow the Nhabanga Paradise signs () for approximately 28km.

When not driving a 4x4 it is recommended to store your vechile at the available 24hr secured facility in Bilene and crossing the lake by ferry to Nhabanga paradise. Pre-arrangement is required.
