A place for Peaceful rest, and also a haven for water sport enthusiasts. If your sport is not dependant on ocean waves, then this is the ideal place to be. Laguna do Bilene is a sea water lagoon open to the Indian ocean. It is approximately 23 Km long, and on average 3 Km wide.

At KaiaPraia it is only a few short steps from your veranda onto a white sandy beach, where you can wade or swim in the refreshing clear water of the lagoon. Ask us for goggles and a snorkel to see what happens under water.

Chalets

Each chalets is individually theme-decorated, and given names like; ‘The Boudoir’ & ‘Frida Kahlo’. Mozquito nets and fans are standard fittings. A waterfront setting like KaiaPraia’s is seldom bettered. So, for your pleasure, each Kaia has a veranda, where you can sit in comfort and enjoy the scenery and the view over Laguna do Bilene, relishing your idyllic Holiday.

The Kaia's are made from local materials and constructed in a similar way as all the other traditional kayas in Nhabanga. Ours have modern conveniences added. The intention was, and successfully achieved, that the visitor would experience a true rural Africa (Mozambican-way) atmosphere and live the romantic adventure of it in comfort.

The lagoon has a gentle, shallow slope along its shore, which allows safe swimming for the kiddies. There are also Deep-Sea-Diving opportunities available close by which will allow you to see the most beautiful coral reefs which this incredible country has to offer.
