This lush tropical haven is known for its astonishing inland lake, which is 5km wide and 14km long, and perfect for water sports and swimming. Lake Uembje, also known as the San Martino lake lies along side the warm Indian Ocean, and is like a mini-Mediterranean in Africa.

The view from the resort is one of breathtaking serenity with lavish flora and an endless white lakeside beach to feast the eye on. The ocean is a mere ten minutes’ drive from the resort and requires a 4x4. Alternatively one can access the beach via the ferry, which takes approx 30 minutes.

Accommodation at Just In Time Resort, Bilene

Just in Time offers the ultimate in self-catering for hassle-free holiday making. All our chalets are fully equipped with air-con, hot water and cooking facilities. The resort offers a range of chalet accommodation, sleeping from two to eight people.

Each chalet also has it's own braai area, where you can enjoy barbecuing fresh fish, lobster and prawns which are in abundance throughout the coastal regions of Moçambique.

Chalet 1:
• Chalet caters for 6 to 8 persons
• Chalet has 2 double bedrooms
• Living room has 2 sleeper couches
• 2 Bathrooms, 1 with shower and the other with bath

Chalet's 2 to 5:
• Chalet caters for 2 to 4 persons
• Chalet has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds
• Living area has 1 sleeper couch
• 1 Bathroom with shower

The chalets are all lined up a stones-throw away from the lake, therefore ensuring magnificent views of Lake Uembje.

There are an additional four rooms that have twin beds and share a communal kitchen and ablution facilities with showers. The lodge has braai facilities for guests to make use of that are fantastic for cooking freshly caught fish.

The lake is right ahead of the chalets and a safe and serene spot for families to enjoy some swimming and quality time together. The ocean is a ten-minute drive away; it is only accessible via 4x4 as you are required to pass over sand dunes. Alternatively one can access the beach via the ferry, which takes approx 30 minutes.

Activities like biking, quad biking, windsurfing and fishing are abundant in the area and guests can bring their own equipment. The local pub has a TV with DStv, ensuring no one misses the big matches.

ACTIVITIES
Just in Time resort offers a variety of activities to make your holiday full of fun in the sun. Activities include biking, quad biking, windsurfing, kite surfing, fishing, ferry-trips, curio-shopping, 4x4, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling & scuba diving.

For those seeking a more relaxed holiday, the bar is always stocked with an endless supply of ice cold 2Ms and Laurentinas (local beers) as well as the national drink R&R. (local rum and raspberry sparletta) Just lazying it out in the sun is another option, as well as exploring the neighbouring villages and resorts.

DIRECTIONS
1. From Pretoria, take the N4 east towards Witbank.
2. From Witbank continue on the N4 towards Nelspruit.
3. After reaching Nelspruit continue on the N4 towards Komatipoort.
4. Once Moçambique has been entered through the border post at Komatipoort continue along the N4 (becomes EN4) towards Maputo.
5. After passing the tollgate at Maputo take the Xai Xai turn off (EN1) to the left.
6. When reaching Marcia (Approximately 190km from Maputo) take the Bilene turn off to the right. When reaching Bilene (34 km from Marcia) take the first exit to the left of the circle.
7. Turn left at the T-junction next to the flee market.
8. Take the first exit at the next circle (at Palmerias resort) and continue straight on this dirt road. (Deflate tyres to 1bar)
9. Continue along the unpaved sandy road around the lake for ±20km.
10. Look for the Just in Time sign on the left.

When not driving a 4x4 it is recommended to store your vehicle at the available 24hr secured facility in Bilene and crossing the lake by ferry to Nhabanga paradise. Pre-arrangement is required.
