Accommodation at Barrabing Barra

This self catering house has 4 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities. Three of the bedrooms have double beds. The fourth bedroom has four single beds (which can be moved to other rooms if required).

The deck faces the lagoon and from one of the adjacent roofed patios, one has panoramic view of the countless palm trees, characteristic of the area. Each bedroom has an access door to the deck and patios. The deck is huge and offers arguably the best views of the pristine tidal bay of Inhambane. Your camera will no doubt contain many shots of the breathtaking sunsets at Barrabing. A private splash pool on the deck provides for cooling down after a tanning session.

Electricity as well as the services of a cleaner is included in the tariff.
Antonio, our house attendant can assist you in cleaning of seafood as well as in finding the best seafood to buy.

Where is Barrabing?

Barrabing is situated in Praia da Barra, in the Inhambane Province of Mozambique, 600km from the South African border post at Komatipoort.

One can fly directly from O.R.Tambo Airport in Johannesburg to Inhambane or drive the 485km stretch from Maputo. The road from Maputo to Barra is in a good condition. It is advantageous to have a 4×4 vehicle for the last 3km.

All flights may be booked via Barrabing reservations office in conjunction with accommodation. Flight schedules can be provided on request.

Additionally, transport from the airport to Barrabing is available. If you require transport to Inhambane or Barra Beach during your stay at Barrabing, it can be arranged.
