Scuba diving in Inhambane is amongst the best in the world with reefs close to every beach, including the renowned Manta Reef and Gallaria. Regular visitors to these waters include giant manta rays, whale sharks, turtles as well as other teeming marine life, promising a visual feast. Many professional scuba diving operations are run throughout the province, together with excellent snorkelling locations.
