The popular Quatro Amigo’s lodge is situated approx 200m from the beach in the Barra area of Inhambane, Mozambique. There are numerous activities, restaurants and bars within a 2km radius. Situated a mere 25km’s from the town of Inhambane, visitors may easily stock up on provisions and withdraw or exchange money at the various banks.

Accommodation at Quatro Amigos, Barra Beach

5 separate bedrooms all linked by a wooden walkway and each bedroom is equipped with a fan, mosquito nets and linen. All bedrooms have a queen size bed and 2 single beds except the 5th bedroom which has 4 single beds. The lodge can sleep 20 guests in total.

There are 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave oven, ice machine, 2 freezers, large fridge and a 6 plate gas stove. The lodge is serviced daily.

The lounge area has a television with DSTV (please bring own smart card and decoder). The braai area offers superb views over Barra Beach whilst the bar area located on the top deck has 360 degree views of the ocean and the endless coconut palm tree plantation for which this area is renowned.

Quatro Amigos is recommended for a group of friends or family wanting to enjoy themselves in the privacy of their own Mozambique lodge yet close enough to all the fun filled activities that this area has to offer.

DIRECTIONS TO QUATRO AMIGOS
From Maputo, follow the main road North (EN1) to Xai Xai. We advise you to fill up your vehicle at Xai Xai (Engen Garage is recommended) and continue North to Inhambane. At Lindela, where the road splits, take the road to the right towards Inhambane. Travel through the main street of Inhambane and at the traffic circle at the end of the main road, turn right towards the Aeroporto, Barra and Tofo.

Continue with this road (badly potholed) for approx 20 minutes until you reach the Barra/Tofo crossroads. With Bar Babalaza on your right hand side, continue straight on a dirt road towards Barra for approximately 8kms. At the T Junction, turn right and immediately right again onto a sand road. At Dorado Lodge (approx 100m ahead) turn right and drive up a steep road (up the dune). Quatro Amigos will be on your right hand side.
