Comfortable and affordable accommodation on an estuary in a true tropical paradise. Kilometres of unspoilt golden beaches, breathtaking coral reefs, a fabulous lagoon and sea-life in abundance makes Mozambique an unsurpassable destination for holidaymakers and fisherman alike.

This beach resort is situated on the main Barra Beach +/- 27 km from the town of Inhambane and 560km from Maputo.

Accommodation:
4 Sleeper chalets
All the chalets has a full to partial sea view about 150/200m from the beach.
Fully self catering chalets, built with brick and wood, 1 bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 2 x single beds in the living area.
Fully self catering kitchen with gas stove and freezer/fridge.
All the chalets has fans, mosquito nets, bedding but no towels (please provide your own) and is serviced daily.
Built-in braai’s are in front of the chalets, wood and charcoal is available.

Security Guards on duty 24 hours of the day.

Please make sure to bring enough mosquito coils for burning in your house at night as well as other repellents and insect spray.

Food, drinks, and meat are available in Inhambane. Here is a good Bakery, Supermarket, Bottle store, and the Market where you can get from curios to fresh vegetables and fruit. Fresh meat can be bought from good suppliers.

Our Lodge Resort Facilities:
Neptune Beach Bar and Restaurant literally sits on the beach with big class windows and a big shaded outside area where you can forget yourself in the view with a cocktail to enjoy the sunset. Our restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner at reasonable prices and a good stocked bar with all the local beers and alcohol.

Diving can either be done at the Neptune Beach Bar with Barra Reef Divers or at 2 other Resorts in the area.

Fishing charters can be arranged at the Neptune Bar – fishing is good in this area.

Quad bike trails and horse riding can be organized with other lodges – enquiry at Neptune Bar.

Sightseeing in Inhambane is good, there is a lot to see in this beautiful town. As well as Tofo and the Guinjata area.

Airport Transfers are available and can be arranged when you make your booking through us.

Our lodge is accessible with a normal car up to where you turn into the resort, from here if you want to drive in sandy areas you will get stuck if you do not have a 4x4 vehicle. Accessibility to all the other areas are dirt and tar roads.
