There are numerous restaurants and bars within close proximity of Lalapanzi where a wide range of fresh seafood and local cuisine can be enjoyed - prawns, langoustines, crayfish, calamari, crab, fresh line fish, chicken piri piri to name just a few!

The tropical beach bars create an atmosphere of relaxation where the best fisherman's yarns are heard. Watch the beautiful sunsets, participate in beach volleyball, pub games or simply sip and enjoy exotic cocktails.

Accommodation at Lalapanzi, Barra Beach

The 4-6 sleeper house comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms with showers, kitchen with 2 plate stove, fridge/freezer and microwave oven and a large deck with dining table. Each of the bedrooms has 1 x double bed and 1 x single bed.

The 3 bedroom house next door has 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen (with 2 plate stove and small oven, fridge/freezer and ice machine), dining room and 2 decks. The entertainment deck has a large barbeque area with views of the ocean. This house can accommodate 6-8 guests.

The largest house situated higher up the dune has 4 en-suite bedrooms (with showers), equipped kitchen, and a large deck overlooking the ocean with an outdoor braai area.

DIRECTIONS TO LALAPANZI
From Maputo, follow the EN1 north to Xai Xai. Xai Xai is a good stop to refuel (Engen Garage recommended). From Xai Xai continue north to Inhambane. Where the road splits at Lindela, take the right hand fork and drive through the town of Inhambane. At the circle, take the road to Tofo /Aeroporto. At Bar Babalaza crossroads, continue straight on dirt road for approximately 7 km's.

The road forks at Anda Ca Lodge, turn right and at Dorado Lodge turn right again. Up the steep dune you will find Lalapanzi. The 2 bedroom house is on the right hand side, the 3 bedroom, house on the left hand side and the 4 bedroom house higher up the dune on the right hand side.
