The two Fairwinds houses available for Mozambique holiday rental can be found in the prime Barra area, close to Barra Lodge.

These very comfortable, cool and appealing brick and thatch houses are situated on the beach (no sea views from the houses though), with the added bonus that a 4x4 vehicle is not required.

Accommodation at Fairwinds, Barra Beach

The smaller unit has 3 bedrooms (main bedroom is en-suite) and can accommodate 6 people, the other has 4 bedrooms (the 4th being a loft room) and can accommodate 8 people comfortably (although this unit can accommodate 10 people). Both houses are fully equipped for self-catering and are serviced daily.

There are numerous activities, restaurants and bars within close proximity, from horse-riding on the beach to ocean safaris.
Fairwinds are set in a prime location – just a short stroll down the path to the most beautiful pristine beach!

DIRECTIONS TO FAIRWINDS
From Maputo, follow the signs to Xai Xai (EN1). Best to fill up your vehicle at Xai Xai (preferably at the Engen Garage) and continue north to Inhambane. Drive through the city of Inhambane and follow signboard to Tofo, Barra and the Airport. Continue with this road for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Barra/Tofo crossroads.

With Bar Babalaza on your right hand side, continue straight on dirt road for approximately 6 Kms. As the road splits, keep left and continue straight for approximately 2kms (heading towards the tip of the peninsula). Fairwinds is situated on the right hand side.
