Areia Branca Lodge is a very well established resort, having been founded by Jan and Joey Bean when they came to Mozambique in 1996. Their hands-on management style, together with a terrific team of local assistants, ensures that you will have the very best service and an unforgettable stay at this stunning location.

As well as being one of the most beautiful places on earth it also offers exceptional value for money. The location is such that at certain high tides, the resort is then on an island for a few hours which certainly adds a certain charm to the idea of an island holiday.

Our chalets are built in traditional Mozambican Casita style and, with the exception of towels, are fully equipped with the necessary equipment. All chalets face the estuary.

Each Casita at Areia Branca Lodge has:
· 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds)
· Shower and toilet
· Open plan kitchen & living area which can accommodate another 2 children
· Outside semi-enclosed patio
Electricity is supplied 24 hours by EDM with a back-up generator.

Beach House
The beach houses are 6 sleeper units – 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living area. There is a large veranda with sea-views.

Camping
There are 15 covered camping sites available at the lodge, each with its own power point and electricity.
· Clean and neat ablution facilities with hot water are available.
· Cleaning staff can be hired through the resort.
